2018:– Joined in May 2018 as the sole designer for the company in the position of Junior Graphic Designer.– Adapted quickly to the workflow of the business whereby new products are constantly needing packaging artwork/branding/marketing creating.– In charge of creating large format graphics, wall artwork and marketing/promotional material (brochures, leaflets, posters, etc) for several important exhibitions held within the housewares industry e.g. Exclusively Housewares, Spring Fair and Ambiente. – I am responsible for sourcing and liaising with external companies i.e. exhibition builders and printers and I pride myself on building a strong rapport with them. Because of this, I have advanced knowledge in creating print ready documents as well as having a current working knowledge of the print process.2019:– With the addition of another Junior Graphic Designer and a Marketing Manager, I became the Graphic Designer for the company.– Since becoming part of a team I have been able to take on much bigger projects and expand my knowledge base.– I have been able to tackle larger scale projects such as product catalogues, digital content, photography, product brochures and bigger and better large format exhibition/stand graphics. – Product design, branding and packaging still falls under my remit as Graphic Designer and is a core aspect of my role. I have undertaken countless unique packaging/branding design projects for products such as premium kitchen knives, reusable coffee cups, vacuum flasks and teapots.– I also take the lead creating all printed material as editorial design is a strong suit of mine; utilising grids, layout and typography to create functional and considered designs is always my aim.
