12 Month rotation working within the Balfour Beatty Investments Concession Finance team which look after PFI projects.Whilst in the team I took over the VAT & CIS returns for all concessions of which there were 23, I was also responsible for the CNDR concession working with the Finance Manager on the monthly reporting.Addition task included working with the Head of Concession finance in overhauling the supplier payment process.

Working within the SACC CoE team which is a specialised group whose role it is to ensure the client's annual report and disclosures are correct and without error. This is done with two job types being Call & Cast and WinChecks, Call & Casts is reviewing the Annual report confirming that the financial statements & reports are correct and up to standard with the reporting framework that is being used. Whereas WinChecks involve answering questions on the client & checking that the correct disclosures have been used for the accounting framework.

My primary role at Nissan was within the Inventory team encapsulating, generating scrap reports used within lost cost, ensuring stock levels throughout the plant are correct & suppliers have been paid through investigations and stock counts, additionally I resolved errors within SAP confirming that documents have been posted correctly. Equivalently I was responsible for various month-end specific tasks involving working closely with suppliers & other entities within Nissan.I also assisted the Tax team in producing the monthly VAT Return for Nissan UK, and Quarterly VAT Return for Nissan GB for several months. Ending my with with getting involved in gathering foreign VAT evidence and producing intercompany reports whilst supporting other teams and audits.
