I lead a group of highly skilled digital assurance engineers, with expertise in Cyber Security for Airworthiness / Safety, Software Assurance, AI/ML assurance, System Design and Architectures and Requirements management.

As a Senior Consultant, I lead large teams to deliver complex programmes across a multitude of disciplines, including Safety, Systems Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Cyber Security for Airworthiness (CSA). I am responsible for the Technical Delivery of artefacts delivered by my team and for building strong bonds with customers to gain a clear understanding of their issues and solve complex problems. I use appropriate leadership styles to gain and maintain the trust, confidence, commitment and collaboration of others throughout the project to ensure continued momentum. I can develop, consult on, and disseminate clear documentation to meet the objectives of complex programmes. I am responsible for managing and authoring large bids in response to Invitations to Tender (ITT), developing the technical and commercial approach to deliver the best value and a viable solution to the customer. I also manage a large campaign for novel weapon technologies, understanding the sector, competitors, opportunities and building professional relationships with organisations to ensure our capabilities are fully understood.

Working as part of a Technical Group providing consultancy services to clients across a number of skill disciplines, either individually or as part of a project team. Running aspects of various projects, with particular knowledge of Military Aviation policy and the Military Air System Certification Process. Providing safety support throughout the life-cycle of client's systems from concept to disposal. Conducting the analysis and application of safety and airworthiness data and processes to provide assistance and assurance to various clients including MoD, Design Organisations, Original Equipment Manufacturers and Supply Chain. This includes the creation of Safety and Certification artefacts.

• Utilised effective management skills to identify shortfalls in the base battery disposal procedures and responsibilities. Chaired various planning and safety meetings and ensured a new procedure was designed and implemented, safeguarded that battery storage and disposal was carried out cost effectively and safely through the correct organisations, complying with Environmental Agency policies. • Managed all quarantine assets subject to fault investigation, safeguarding the asset integrity during investigation. Liaised with various Delivery Teams upon investigation completion, utilised effective communication to organise release and return of quarantined assets to the respective Delivery Team effectively. This provided the customer with increased asset availability.• Reduced squadron man-hours through the management of the GOLDEsp Tracking Team, ensured all assets were captured electronically upon receipt to main stores and created or updated electronic documentation including lifing details accordingly to maintain electronic data integrity and availability.

• Managed teams of up to 10 avionic engineers maintaining 3 Wildcat aircraft ensuring maintenance is prioritised and carried out effectively and efficiently during periods of reduced manpower, resulting in the squadron executing more flying than any other Wildcat squadron, allowing aircrew to achieve further flying objectives from Yeovilton whilst most engineering personnel were deployed to Arizona, USA. • Carried out fault diagnosis logically and effectively to successfully identify multiple areas of cable damage to the aircraft fire suppression system, resulting in minimal aircraft downtime and increased serviceability. • Planned, packed, managed and maintained test equipment, tooling and ground equipment required for detachment on board HMS Ocean, supporting 3 Wildcat AH helicopters and 30 engineers. Coordinated with various agencies including the Calibration Section and Tool Control Section at HMS Heron. This ensured equipment was readily available on request, reducing aircraft downtime and allowing the aircraft to successfully deliver 60 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the British Virgin Islands post the catastrophic Hurricane Irma.• Carried out multiple quality audit reports of internal departments, ensuring standards and practices are maintained in accordance with regulatory publications, providing recommendations for the heads of department when required resulting in new processes being implemented. • Liaised with Delivery Teams and Defence Organisations (Leonardo Helicopters, DE&S) to overcome faults with the Electro Optical Designator System. Used effective fault diagnosis and system knowledge and concluded software upgrades were required for all Wildcat AH Tactical Processors fleet wide.
