About Jake Dingley

I'm a highly motivated and self-driven Software Engineer. I have good communication skills and wish to help others and improve through problem solving and critical analysis. I'm currently working at GuideIT as a Jr. Application Developer. Here I develop and maintain an Angular web application. Used problem solving and code analysis to determine and resolve bugs with program and develop new features to existing program. Languages used were HTML, CSS, C# and JavaScript.I was employed as a Software Developer for Winston Benefits. Here I analyzed code and find issues and bugs that need to be fixed. Through analyzing and deciphering code I determined the issues cause and either fix them or send them over to others who I tell the problem and procedure to fix the bugs. The languages we use is mostly C#, with some JavaScript and SQL as well.Prior I worked as a Software Developer and an IT Support for SMART Carpets and Flooring. There, I worked on adding features to their web portal, using Node.js. As well as updating their system's framework, and upgrading and cleaning their network.I am also worked in freelance web development. I have developed a website from scratch using Node.js and Express.js framework. During the development I worked with web hosting services DigitalOcean, LiquidWeb, Rackspace and GoDaddy. I also managed domain registers GoDaddy, Domain.com and DigitalOcean.I’m an active learner and love to teach myself new things, and am always willing to be taught.
