I currently work as a Software Engineer II for Wayfair, online marketplace to a zillion things home, where I have been happily employed since May 2019.I started my career in data analysis at ZEFR, a contextual advertising startup located in Los Angeles. After a year in the analyst role, I moved onto ZEFR's Product Management team. This marked the beginning of what would end up being a 6-year tenure in Product Management. The first 4 years of that tenure was spent at a few startups in Los Angeles working on both enterprise and internal software across various industries - advertising (ZEFR), media production/distribution (Awesomeness), sales enablement (fka ringDNA, now revenue.io). Then, in early 2019 I was ready for a change of scenery, and was happy to be recruited for a PM role at Wayfair, giving me a chance move from LA to Boston. After 2 years as a PM, I decided to make a change, and give software engineering a try, and was able to transfer internally at Wayfair. I've loved my role as a software engineer, and have been fortunate enough to be promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2023.Prior to my career in technology, I studied pure mathematics at UCLA where I was fortunate enough to delve into several different areas of higher mathematics. I am considering pursuing a master's in mathematics at some point.I am always looking to expand my network, so feel free to reach out if you think our interests might be aligned!
