Architected and contributed heavily to building Alcove from 0-1. We created a React front end/node microservice backend hosted on GCP using the MERN stack, coded in Typescript. I was recruited by Menlo Labs, from whom we raised $3.5M. We were one of the first companies of the Menlo Labs incubator.While at Alcove, I implemented reporting with Google Analytics, Hubspot, and HotJar. I also implemented and oversaw integrations with FedEx, UPS, USPS, Quickbooks, Pinterest, Stripe, and Gmail.

During this time my teams implemented the native portions of our digital collections and price guidance features for trading cards which provided new insights into the value of trading card for enthusiast collectors. Additionally I managed the velocity team which is re-architecting eBay's native applications to use GraphQL. Lastly I hired and formed the F90 team, which is focusing on improving the native app experience for new users to eBay.

I am working as a Technical Lead in the Digital Brand division of Nike. My focus is on facilitating the delivery of mobile experiences. I was the technical lead on the Nike SB App delivering a new consumer facing application focused on the Skating community. The application allows skaters to connect with each other by uploading videos of themselves performing skateboarding tricks. I was responsible for technical direction in the core development group at WebMD's Health Services division. I led the development effort as WebMD moved into the mobile channel. This included creating mobile optimized versions of our web apps, and the creation of native applications for iOS and Android. I selected the Monotouch/Mono (now Xamarin) for Android platform which allowed us to write code which was usable on both systems and leverage WebMD's C# developers.During my time at WebMD, I also led the team which created a versatile data import platform which accepted data from a variety of sources including insurance claims, lab results, custom rewards data and many other data types. The system pulled the data in, cleansed and normalized it, then routed the data to the appropriate subsystem for further processing.

I was a Software dev at this company. Initially I worked on setting up print to mail jobs for fulfillment. Later in my time at this company I worked with another developer in re-writing the inventory management system in VB6 backended on SQL Server. Also we later added a web front end in ASP.NET which allowed customers to place orders for release and view current inventory stocks.
