I have been working as an Assistant Language Teacher at Kushikino High School for three years. Here I have imbedded myself in the local working and living culture, becoming an invaluable member of the school staff. My responsibilities ranged from producing interactive and educational lesson plans and game materials to delivering solo lessons to classes up to 40 students in number, and taking an active role in excursion events and summer or winter extracurricular camps. I also spearheaded outreach programs by recording and producing promotional videos and presentations to capture new junior high school students for the following academic years. Each year in performance reviews I was met with outstanding feedback. I was also requested to visit many other academic schools in the prefecture to deliver the English language in a fun and engaging way.
