Supporting their ILP’s and leading match days against Cat 1, 2 & 3 Academies. Coached across all of the foundation phase age groups. I spent my placement year at a leading youth Soccer club in the American state of Massachusetts. This experience was a huge step in my development as a football coach and as a person. I worked as a football coach as well as having an office administrational role at the headquarters. I also worked within the technical department, creating sessions, sport science programs and working with the 24 different states in which the club operated in.I was a head coach for two different elite age groups; U12 & U15's I enjoyed working with the different age groups and endured a successful period with both teams implementing a key coaching value of mine, which is to not only develop the players within the games, but to develop them as people as well.

Back at my previous club where I played to a semi-professional standard, I was the head coach of the U15 age group at Hullbridge FC, an Eastern Junior Alliance team on a semi-professional pathway. My role was to coach the side with different session outlines and tactics in line with the manager’s vision. I was also responsible for preparing them physically, tactically and psychologically for their competitive matches. The skills I attained and developed included communication when delivering sessions, organisation and time management when creating session plans weekly and player management as well as understanding player needs.

A local swim school that was founded in 2001, I learnt to swim there as a child when it first opened through to the age of 11 once I completed my life saving badges. The following year I went on to work for the company as a teaching assistant where I would support the lead teachers in the first two sections of the pool where the ability was beginners to intermediates. After a year I went onto teaching older children their basic life saving techniques and skills and became a senior member of staff.
