Adaptable: Working multiple jobs, playing multiple sports, and taking multiple rigorous courses at once has taught me that being adaptable to any situation is key to having success. Playing two sports in highschool while working a job at the same time forced me to adapt to many different situations. Depending on the week my schedule could change due to having games, length of practices, or exams. When I had a game I had to adjust my work schedule and study habits to fit my schoolwork, athletics, and job all in one week. Impactful: Making an impact that matters when doing things has always been an upmost priority to me. I've always had the idea that if I'm going to do something, I should make it count. In highschool I helped run the Dance Marathon for Riley Children's Hospital by setting up the event and reaching out to community members for donations. As a whole we raised over 2 million dollars my senior year which was a new school record. All of the money went to Riley Children's Hospital to help kids in need.Sociable: The most important skill that has got me to where I am is my ability to socialize and communicate with others. Representing myself in a respectable manner when talking to people helped me get my letter of recommendations for Kelley. My communication skills have also allowed me to build my network in Kelley and outside of Indiana University. Working on my communication skills has allowed me to connect with more people and get a better understanding of where people are coming from.
