During my tenure at the Yellow Pages Group, I was at the forefront of the digital advertising revolution. We went from selling ads in phone books to selling digital ads online. It was my responsibility to generate new business for the organization and my clients. I executed outbound sales efforts to schedule meetings with prospective clients via; cold calling, cold emails and good ole fashioned door-knocking. After trial and error, I developed a successful, process-driven formula to scheduling meetings that was adopted across my team, and later, by sales reps across all of Ontario.Scheduling a meeting with a prospect was only half of the battle! Next came understanding their business and aligning a marketing solution that would generate them qualified leads.My vast knowledge of digital marketing allowed me to excel in positioning our digital services; SEO, SEM, website development and mobile search.
