I was the lead interaction designer for an experimental mixed reality game project at Alexa. I designed the mobile, augmented reality, smart home onboarding, and “10 foot” TV experience for our game.Through researching modern AR interaction fundamentals, I created and implemented a novel interaction paradigm for mobile augmented reality experiences. This resulted in record breaking player engagement and enjoyment exceeding Amazon Games standards. I worked directly with game designers to design, develop, and implement a suite of gameplay improving, diegetic user interfaces for mobile phones, multimodal screens, and TV screens.I planned, designed, executed, and tested an in-game end to end smart home onboarding CX where players could sign in to their Amazon account, grant access, add, and remove smart speakers, displays, and lights to improve their gameplay experience. I created articulate high fidelity motion and interactive prototypes for UX, UI, and gameplay puzzles to better deliver my creative vision to developers and leadership. This allowed for streamlined alignment and gameplay implementation.

I was in charge of the experience a User had when engaging with any of our brands and as such I took a chief role in gamification, web application design, and medium (national) to large scale (international) website information architecture and front end interaction design.Prior to my UX practice with VML, I was the lead designer for Shop Your Way and Kellogg's Masterbrand accounts. I formulated web-centered advertising campaigns with my account team in Chicago. In my time as a designer we increased our relationship with Kellogg through fantastic, quality work and lightning quick turnaround times to be awarded the honor of all of their 2016 digital and social work. I played a chief role in bringing their social campaign into a more relevant, digital savvy audience. This returned record numbers in customer engagement and action.
