I am a final year student at Bournemouth University on the BSc Sport Management degree programme. My experience lies in various sports, including ice hockey, lacrosse, and football. In August, I started my placement year with the Cardiff Devils, a professional ice hockey team in the Elite Ice Hockey League. On my placement year, I was able to experience all different parts of the business, including the school outreach programme, match-day operations/preparation, corporate client relations, customer service and hosting large-scale IIHF events. In my second and final years of university, I served as President of Bournemouth University Lacrosse. I have also completed my Level 1 coaching certification with US Lacrosse, and am open to opportunities to expand my skillset and experience. I also had the opportunity to work with First State Football Club from March 2021. I worked with the coaching staff to film training sessions and matches, then analyse the performance of the team. I also learned skills such as managing relationships between coaches and players, planning game-day operations and community outreach. I love learning about the sport industry and am excited to continue to expand my knowledge.
