As the President and Lead Engineer of XO-Nano Smartfoam, I am passionate about creating and commercializing novel and versatile products that use Smartfoam. With over nine years of experience in this field, I have developed a broad range of skills in CAD, mechanical engineering, and entrepreneurship, as well as a deep knowledge of smart materials and adaptive systems.My journey to XO-Nano Smartfoam began with my doctoral research at Brigham Young University, where I studied flexible nano-composite foams for strain-sensing applications. I founded XO-NANO with the hope that we could create meaningful improvements to the quality of life of our end users through sensors that provide feedback without compromising comfort. I also won multiple awards and published several papers for my innovative work on Smartfoam sensors. My mission is to empower our customers to gather data through technologically advanced sensors that can be directly integrated into the final products without the customer noticing them.
