My journey as a Computer-Aided Product Designer began with the discovery of CAD software. A tool which bypassed the need for traditional sketching, augmenting my ability to communicate complicated ideas and develop them into refined, manufacture ready designs. Over 15 years of experience with a variety of CAD software has led me to become a certified professional, working alongside renowned global brands. My technical foundation is built on a blend of practical skills, conceptual problem-solving, and an in-depth grasp of engineering principles. I am adept in an array of CAD programs, including Solidworks, Creo Parametric and AutoCAD. My diverse digital design skills are complemented by a passion for bringing concepts to life with accuracy and creativity. My hands-on experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, and other manufacturing techniques as a self employed designer has honed my ability to design and fabricate both prototypes and production ready components. My career has been in roles such as a Graphic Designer for a signage company, where I crafted vector-based designs for diverse applications, and as a Product Designer, where I specialized in 3D visualization and production for POS, exhibition and portable displays within the eyewear industry. My academic background includes a BSc (Hons) in Computer Aided Product Design and a BEng (Hons) in Engineering and Technology from the University of Portsmouth. This education has equipped me with a deep understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, which I apply to every aspect of my work.Recognized for my academic excellence with the ‘Excellent Student Performance Prize’ in 2015, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development. I obtained my CSWP (Certified Solidworks Professional) Certificate in 2022 and am eager to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities to contribute my expertise to innovative projects. Currently creating bespoke trophy designs for Gaudio Awards, catering to a spectrum of clients from high-profile brands to personal commemorative pieces. I strive to bring value and a unique perspective to every project I undertake, ensuring that each design is not just an award, but a work of art that stands as a testament to each winner's achievement.
