I'm a hard working individual who is loyal, with an eye for success and development. I have a background in photography, management, retail, commercial, promotion, marketing and sales.I'm a driven senior press photographer with over six years’ experience in the industry and a proven track record of success, including two Excellence Awards and regional award short-listings. I currently find myself out of work due to redundancy.I also have a background in retail management with five years’ experience running two successful stores and turning both stores from poor performers, into success stories. As well as this, I volunteer my time by working with the Sheffield Steelkings sledge hockey club where I hold several roles including secretary and marketing manager. Sledge hockey is the disabled variant of ice hockey and is mainly suited for people with lower body injuries. It is my responsibility to help the club in all areas of it's workings, including general promotion of the team and gaining sponsorship. My previous work and life experience means I've worked with all types of people and can deal with pressure in a positive way, as well as working in difficult situations and to daily time constraints. I'm also familiar with public speaking. As well as being a passionate fan and player of both ice and sledge hockey, I also love to travel whenever possible. I enjoy organising my own travel arrangements (and those of others), hiring a car and discovering places most tourists don't go. I have actually driven in nine different foreign countries so far but travelled much further through Europe and beyond. One of my other passions is simply trying new experiences. I'm also a keen fundraiser and try to raise money by both organising and taking part in different events and raising money for local charity groups.Having gained vast experience working to briefs as well as using my own initiative, I'm now looking for my next challenge and opportunity to further my career.
