Currently responsible for upgrading the Security Forces alternate Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). This has allowed me to work with multiple agencies across Buckley AFB as well as outside police agencies while coordinating multiple offsite visits and demonstrations to bring in new technology to Buckley AFB and Security Forces. Some of my additional projects and responsibilities include upgrading the portable radios at approximately $750K, creating and updating quick reaction checklists for our dispatchers to follow, and coordinating with base agencies to support upgrading base security and response procedures.

Protected a Protection Level 1 asset which provides vital early warning data to the Commander-in-Chief. Dispatched response forces to investigate, resolve incidents and accidents, plotted cordons, and documented daily events serving a military and civilian community of 14K personnel and resources valued in excess of $11 Billion. Also, monitored intrusion detection alarms and CCTV systems while determining alarm response priority using software such as Advantor and Vindicator and conducted background checks through NCIC/CCIC.

Responsible for protection and accountability of $1 million in arms, ammunition and equipment. Inspected weapons for cleanliness and proper function, trained new personnel on proper procedures and managed the privately owned weapons program for base residents.

Buckley Afb, Aurora, Co

Investigated and resolved incidents as dispatched, established cordons in affected areas and evacuated personnel if necessary, conducted routine traffic stops and issued citations. Also conducted daily training with new personnel and daily exercises to maintain proficiency.
