Mr. Åkermarck specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate, Life Sciences and Competition law as well. He is a member of the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions practice area, heads the firm's Life Sciences & Healthcare practice group and is a member of the Competition & Public Procurement practice group. He assists clients in structuring, negotiating and implementing various types of corporate transactions on a Finnish, Nordic and international level. He also advises on general corporate law matters, including corporate governance, and he is a board member or secretary to the board of some internationally owned Finnish companies. He has more than 20 years of experience of assisting Clients within the pharmaceutical, chemical and car industry. Prior to joining Dittmar & Indrenius in 2008, Mr. Åkermarck practiced since 1988 at one of the largest Finnish law firms, serving for eleven years as a partner. Mr. Åkermarck has gained experience from working with Coudert Brothers in Brussels in 1996.
