Sentral (formerly Daydream) is a start-up multifamily platform that manages trophy mixed-use apartments, and offers a "push-button" homesharing services for residents. The Denver-based firm was founded in 2018 to create a new category of flexible living, with opportunities for residents to lower their housing costs through managed homesharing and for property owners to enhance investment returns through incremental hospitality revenue.- As the first employee, I helped craft the company’s mission, vision, strategy and business plans- I was integral in building the organization from scratch, including the corporate infrastructure, processes and policies to support ~35 employees and growing- I was active across multiple disciplines: planning/strategy, investment management, operations, fundraising, technology/data, FP&A- Sourced (off-market), capitalized (REIT equity + debt), acquired and operated a ~$1B portfolio, including 2019’s largest multifamily acquisitions in Denver (+$300M) and L.A. (+$400M)*Daydream was acquired by ICONIQ Capital in 1Q-2020

Ascentris is a real estate private equity firm and SEC Registered Investment Adviser that invests in and manages institutional real estate, both directly and through joint venture partners. Ascentris focuses on both acquisitions and ground-up developments across all the major property types and U.S. markets.- I was a member of the Management Team, co-chaired the Valuation Committee and sat on the Investment Committee - I formed and chaired the Sustainability Committee to focus on ESG and Asset Resiliency priorities- I managed the “cradle to grave” investment process for ~$1B of acquisitions and developments across all types of institutional-quality U.S. real estate - I focused on notable complex investments, including as an equity partner on a ~$275M mixed-use residential condo development in Denver, and a direct operator on a ~$115M value-add mixed-use campus in the Bay Area (office/industrial/biotech/data center)- I helped concept the investment thesis, operating model and brand for a Class A micro-unit apartment development strategy*Ascentris lifted out of Amstar Group (previous employer) in 4Q-2015

Amstar is a privately owned real estate investment company with over three decades of experience in acquiring, developing and asset managing all major property types in the United States and in select international markets on behalf of a European family office. - I worked on small teams to acquire, develop (w/ JV partners), asset manage and sell ~$140M of multifamily & industrial investments- I assisted in managing five opportunistic hotel investments (714 keys / ~$250M), including an internally-created management company & brand (Travaasa Experiential Resorts)- I coordinated recruiting, interviewing, hiring & training 10 investment analysts, multiple commercial property managers and hotel general managers- I institutionalized and administered a comprehensive training program introducing new hires to company culture, real estate investing, financial modeling and company processes/protocols- I built financial models (Excel) to increase accuracy, efficiency, transparency, and auditability; created/maintained a template database for all aspects of investment management
