I am a trainee legal executive currently working in litigation practice relating to agricultural property, business and estates. I assist with work which involves clients such as individuals and companies (LLPs, Limited companies) and involves cases leading up to the Supreme Court. This work also involves Landlord and Tenant disputes relating to Agricultural Holdings arising under The Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and The Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995. This work in particular relates largely to serving notices pursuant to the two Acts and attending arbitrations involving such disputes. Furthermore, contract disputes relating to dairy farmers and dairy chains and contract disputes in general is also something I work largely with. I also carry out non-contentious work in property such as the conveyancing aspects of a purchase and sale of farm land often for high-net worth individuals, drafting legal documents relating to an agricultural holding, an agricultural partnership or any related property aspects. Work in this area also involves commercial property aspects such as overage negotiations, option agreements, drafting of leases and associated deeds.I have completed my Cilex qualifications and become a graduate member in March 2022.
