Stock Unlock is a financial education platform built by retail investors who are on a mission to demystify investing and promote financial literacy. Investors with any level of experience can save time and learn new investment skills with Stock Unlock.As the CEO, I am using my burning passion for software engineering & personal finance to help teach EVERYONE how to better understand financial markets and investment concepts. It's not hard to do, it's not meant for the rich, our whole lives we have been deprived of financial education and therefore the confidence to manage our own finances. The issue is that we don't have good tooling/resources to learn.It's time for EVERYONE to be educated and empowered to achieve financial freedom. We want our users to feel confident and comfortable in the investment decisions they are making. Traditionally these tools and quality of data have been only available to institutional investors or locked behind a large paywall. Stock Unlock wants to put these tools in everyone’s hands and even the playing field. And oh yeah, we aren't a hedge fund, Wall Street suits, etc; we are three friends that LOVE investing and think it's a travesty that the public is left in the dark about how to confidently manage their money.

Continued development on a groovy on grails project with a small team of engineers.Worked within the same code base as the full time engineers, and made changes to the site in production.Changes include both back-end and front-end.Test our own code, using spock as our testing framework of choice for unit and integration tests.
