The General Affairs (GA) department is a part of the HR group, which manages the facility, employee engagement, and expatriate support. As a GA specialist, I handle including but not limited to: expatriate and executive support, vendor management, compliance, contract management, project management, and account payable while collaborating with internal departments such as HR, EHS, legal, and finance.✔ Implement company-wide HR policies including chemical registration, vendor management, and contract management based on headquarter standards.✔ Audit vendors to ensure compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) code of conduct prohibiting issues like child labor, overwork, and employee eligibility verification (I-9). ✔ Spearhead cross-functional workshops to develop company-wide systems for vendor selection, bidding, and project management. Successfully completed over $5 million worth of projects✔ Eliminate occupational injuries and ensured a safer working environment for expatriates by establishing a robust safety training process, reducing recordable injuries to zero✔ Manage 15 to 20, concurrent projects to develop solutions that enhanced the work environment, morale, productivity, and retention ✔ Manage overtime and resource usage of the contracted vendors and reduced monthly service payments from 106k to 64k per month✔ Provide strategic oversight and hands-on management of complex contracts, projects, work orders, and payments, totaling over $2 million annually
