As a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at California Polytechnic State University, I have gained valuable, hands on experience in my field of study. My coursework thus far has included but is not limited to: Material removal, CAD, computer programming (various languages), composite manufacturing, welding, fluid mechanics, system design, and thermodynamics. Throughout these courses, I have gained valuable skills and information that has not only benefited me throughout my academics, but throughout my extra-curricular endeavors as well. As someone who spends a lot of time in the outdoors, I am passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation which I am excited to meld with my mechanical engineering skillset. I look forward to pursuing a career where I can use my creativity and problem solving skills to make change in the fields that are important to me.
