At Jackson Hogg I was tasked with establishing a brand new US Cloud team with one other senior team member. This period was almost entirely business development, but despite some success securing clients market conditions lead to Jackson Hogg being forced to make redundancies that affected roughly 1/3 of their international team. Joining Elsdon Consulting I made the transition from recruiting in Denmark, to instead operating in the US. Continuing my responsibilities as a 360 consultant, I have been responsible for winning new business, as well as targeting and acquiring top level talent. In the time I have been at Elsdon I have invoiced in excess of £200,000, earning my promotion to Senior Consultant, and adding leadership responsibilities such as running meetings and mentoring juniors. Using my knowledge from my AWS certification I have also been an SME for the cloud, helping others learn the tech we work with.Worked on the following roles: DevOps/Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, Software Engineer/Developer (Java, Python, JavaScript, iOS), QA Engineer, Pre-sales Solution Architect, Director of Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

During the 2 years I spent at FRG I have been the sole responsible for building a brand new desk from scratch, the Danish AWS market, and I have been able to invoice in excess of £170,000. This has involved getting to grips with the technology itself, as well as lead generation, business development, account management, candidate engagement and a degree of marketing. I also took the step of becoming an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner to increase my understanding of the technology I’m working with.Worked on the following roles: DevOps/Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Software Engineer/Developer (Java, .NET/C#, Python, JavaScript), Business Intelligence

Throughout my time with Geoban, I have demonstrated my ability to achieve all targets and manage my schedule well, which has resulted in my ability to regularly produce beyond target whilst maintaining a consistently high quality. I have applied my analytical skills across multiple work streams, often changing stream at short notice, which is just one example of my flexible working style. On top of this, I have enjoyed mentoring new colleagues and demonstrated that I understand how to operate in a team environment.

In this position I am always interacting with the public, ensuring I provide a fantastic service, whilst having to remember orders and at times make complicated drinks. I am often managing several tasks at once, at times during incredibly busy shifts. These tasks span from customer service to maintenance to health and safety.

I spent 4 weeks experiencing different departments. While here I experienced firsthand the crucial administrative elements of legal practice. This working experience included managing cases in a team environment and gaining significant legal knowledge outside of my chosen modules.

This exciting experience so far has allowed me to participate in a new growing firm, providing me with terrific commercial awareness. I took a lead on attending fayres where I found the firm new clients in a friendly yet professional manner. I also handled finances and have been given further responsibilities such as processing confidential documents and memoranda, I am trusted with a key and am expected to lock up the office on a regular basis, I have become well versed in data entry and gained invaluable experience with Xero software. I became such a valuable asset to the company that I was asked back for a second summer.

Last summer I worked as an intern at a marketing firm. While there my responsibilities included social media management and drafting promotional material such as blog posts. I gained valuable experience with software such as HootSuite and WordPress. As well as a greater understanding of how to attract, and keep, customers for a variety of businesses.

In this role I ensured customers had an engaging and entertaining experience in a safe environment. This entailed teaching customers how to operate the vehicle while providing them with necessary safety information. I also handled more reckless customers in a calm manner to avoid accidents, and performed routine safety checks when accidents did occur. Through this I learnt leadership skills as well as a great respect for health and safety rules, as well as being my first experience being entrusted with keys to the office.

I spent 6 hours a week performing pro bono work on a wide range of cases for older people. This was an experience very similar to the University of Sunderland Law Clinic, but with less of a legal focus. I gained essential skills for interacting with clients especially communication skills, as well as time management and research.

I took delivery of newspapers and advertisements on a weekly basis. I then sorted them together ready to be delivered to customers and I distributed them.
