Accountabilities:• Responsible for Information Security for the Freightways group (New Zealand and Australia)• Reporting to the CIO of Freightways IS. Member of the EXEC team.Achievements:• Building of new Cybersecurity strategy and presentation to the board. Building the security roadmap.• Built new Security Awareness Programme, ISO27001 certification.• Lead EAM Project to discover risks throughout all FWs business units.• Built a new high functioning security team from scratch.• Built new internal penetration testing function.

Accountabilities:• Reviewing architectural high level and detailed designs from end to end and advising on all security aspects of projects. Some projects have infrastructure at patient care level.• Helping project teams estimate security costs early on as a project is started, advising pain points early.• Reviewing cloud technology and how those risks influence how the business want to leverage cloud.• Programme management; planning and managing project workload across multiple projects for multiple DHBs.• Working closely with multiple stakeholders at C level in many cases.• Managing and running the security awareness programme for hA and all the northern regional hospitals.Achievements:• Handed over 40 health related projects from day 1 and managing all the business security outcomes for all successfully and on time.• Voluntered to run the hA security awareness programme from scratch. Designed and built a very popular and well subscribed security champions league, which according to metrics, over nightchanged the staff security awareness culture at heathAlliance. Worked with internal comms and other sharepoint teams.• Helping design the minimim security control requirements for healthAlliance to safely move into the Azure cloud platform for future applications.• Led the security response for the northern region for the 4 DHBS during the pandemic lockdown. Helped get all the crucial patient care and ICT systems working externally during the lockdown. Received CEO commendation for the work.
