Global Role Based In United Kingdom And Australian

A Principal Solutions Architect is part of the leadership team for Engineering Excellence, the global engineering function for Invensys Operations Management. This role is responsible for the definition, development, promotion and institutionalization of products and services for project delivery offices world-wide.Key aspects of the role in include: technology roadmapping, market analysis; business justification; requirements elicitation and prioritisation; development guidance; domain support and commercialisation planning.

Uk Based Global Role

As a subject matter expert I was responsible for consulting with Invensys engineers and managers world-wide and translating their problem statements into requirements for new products to be developed. During the development process I provided detailed domain knowledge and direction to the development team. After release I was responsible for ensuring training and support was in place and effective.

Engineered a number of small to medium Safety, Fire & Gas, and Turbo Machinery projects for the United Kingdom and Nigeria. Activities included site surveys, project engineering specification, hardware design, application/visualisation software development, and full system testing.

Project application engineering, offshore commissioning and maintenance for process control, safety and fire/gas systems primarily on the Britannia Platform in the North Sea. Activities included hardware work pack execution on a live platform, software modifications and general system maintenance.

PLC application engineer for Water, Wastewater, Food & Beverage industries. Activities included application specification and coding, internal and client testing.
