Very creative account director with a background in sales and a passion for music :Jake Wensing (1974) started out in music at a very young age. He performed live for the first time at 8 years old. And he was drawn to the stage ever since. After playing in numerous rock bands Jake really found his drive in music in 90's punkpop band Beyond93. After 3 demo's they got signed by Sandor Lubbe at his Dutch Label. But when their debut album was finished they made the move to Columbia records/Sony Music who quickly enlisted the Dutch label. Their debut album (Stop looking back ,1999) got good reviews and made them able to play lots of shows in Holland, Belgium and England. They also played numerous festivals such as Noorderslag and The Vans Warped Tour. After 13 years the band called it quits in 2006 when the musical directions of all members didn't match anymore. They released 4 demo's, 1 album, 1 EP and 3 video clips (one made it to the top of the box rock chart).Since being a punkrocker didn't pay all the bills Jake worked for numerous companies such as Roadrunner Records, Orange and T-Mobile. After his live career got more to the background he started working at more creative companies. He was production-project manager at Fusion Pictures when they made their first movie (Tegen beter weten in) Jake also wrote the title track and scored the movie. He liked writing music for film and commercials and did so for some clients until he got hired as Creative Manager at Hollands multi awarded Music production company SMP Amsterdam. Where he managed a team of composer who wrote mainly music for TV programs and commercials. In 2017 Jake joined Ruwer, a work agency for the creative industry. In this role he feels like everything comes together. His sales talent combined with his people skills. Since 2019 Jake is co-owner and is having a lot of fun everyday getting the best people for the coolest jobs....In his free time he plays guitar and spends time with his family.Other interest are books, series, movies, snowboarding and playing golf.
