In my role as the Nomination Committee Chair, I am responsible to receive nominations, prepare and present candidates to them membership for consideration to serve in board positions.

El Paraíso, Honduras

I was fortunate to have served in a 19 person medical brigade serving the people of Honduras. As a nurse, I worked as a member of a multidisciplinary team delivering care to those who may not otherwise have access to care. Over the course of several days we traveled to remote villages providing primary and urgent care to persons with a host of medical concerns from cough/cold illnesses to hypertension and diabetes and even wounds. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to serve.

During my time with the ANA-NY Awards Committee, I helped to recognize and celebrate nurse leaders for exemplary service to others by assisting in the design of awards, choose what awards will be administered each year, and assisted the group to review nominees.

I aide in the decision making process for the club. We are responsible for the organization of, 3 seasons of play, one a competitive spring travel (Concord FC), a recreational house league and a fall super rec. We also have created a TOPSoccer league for persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities. It is truly a pleasure to serve the community where I live in the effort of promoting youth sports and specifically the game of soccer.
