A-del is a full service Heavy Highway/Site construction company. The company has been around for about 40 years and has done many notable projects from high school sitework, new roadway alignments and recently a large overhaul of the Toll Facility between Delaware and Maryland on I-95.I over see multiple projects simultaneously from a project management position. This includes the start ups such as subcontracts negotiations, submittals, and project schedules. While the project is ongoing, I make sure the field foreman and superintendents have all the latest information from RFI's to plan changes. My job is to streamline the information so the field personnel can get the job done in a safe, efficient and quick manner. In addition, I serve at the Professional Engineer at A-del. I review our Asbuilt drawings, oversee CCR reports, and look to help Value Engineer projects we are awarded.

Corrado Construction is a full service heavy civil/site contractor that services, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.During start up of a project, I assist the estimators in executing the prime and subcontract contracts and negotiating terms and conditions under which the contracts are executed. After the contracts are negotiated I assume the lead role on the job. I gather information for submittals and make sure they conform to the specifications and approved plans. Once approvals are received I issue purchase orders for the material and schedule delivery based on the overall project schedule.I manage the job from a cost and production standpoint. I make sure the field is supplied with up to date plans and specifications. In addition I monitor changes to plans and specifications for pricing implications on our contracts. I price and negotiate the changes into change orders for the contract.

I manage our projects from an engineering, cost, and operational standpoint. I have also picked up estimating for the company. I perform cost analysis for bidding, and have oversight of the contract from bid proposals to contract negotiations. Bid projects range in cost from $50,000.00 to $2 million for piling operations. These projects include office buildings, residential apartments, and Department of Transportation Projects for VA, PENNDOT, MD SHA. I have also bid on shoring systems for many different applications from flood wall support to support for waste water treatment plants.
