I'm Jakob Sharp. I graduated in the Spring of 2022 from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Innovation in Game Design and Development with a cross-discipline in Business and a Minor in Computer Science. I develop video games, as well as compete in various esports.I believe that no matter where a person is in life, they can always learn new and inventive ways to complete tasks. I strive to constantly learn from others and myself to not only improve myself but also what I work on.I have actively been continuing the development of my Senior Capstone game: The Whisper. Focused on the player's choice rather than a singular storyline, this meter-based JRPG is designed to allow the player's style and actions to be reflected. This game plans to have a complete update by the end of October, as well as continued development throughout 2023.I also have worked on several Discord bots that are utilized in servers connected to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Self-taught in Javascript, these bots are specifically designed to help the admins of these servers in their specific needs.Outside of Programming, I also take on a large amount of leadership. Having been responsible for the University's Esports club and supervising the intramural sports out of the rec center, I learned how to be an effective leader while also contributing to my team's success.
