I am currently a software engineer at Quantelux. Previously, I was an application developer for GECS where I built software solutions that support over 30 different school districts in Michigan and Tennessee. Formerly, I interned at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow as a software developer and recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor's in computer science. I have a strong foundation in tech, specializing in programming, problem solving, and full stack development. I also have a passion for people and relationships, which I foster through effective communication and collaboration in team settings.For me, the most rewarding part of software development is getting to see the real world impact of my work. Currently, I am building a website portal to allow Genesee ISD staff to create and manage online course enrollments for students and teachers. I am also helping to implement online threat assessment for schools to increase the safety of students. At Sparrow, I witnessed the real-world impact of my work, as I managed customer tickets, automated data updates, and developed a custom validation tool, using C# and SQL. I saved HR 40 hours of work per quarter and bolstered the security of the workplace.In my academic projects, I applied my skills to innovate and create cutting edge solutions, such as an AI-powered social robot that can converse, detect user emotions, and display facial expressions. With a strong academic record and early graduation in December 2023, I am eager to make a difference in the workplace by bridging the gap between technology and business needs.
