About Jakob Cook

Learning, developing wide-ranging skills, and growth through a vast range of lived experiences are cornerstones of my personal and professional life; They are pursuits which have inspired me to pivot from my former maintenance roles in the USAF and as a flight simulator technician toward my studies of English and Applied Linguistics (TEFL). I now use that knowledge and experience to promote language learning and connect with a vast range of youth and adult English Language Learners, teachers, and the surrounding community.I am returning to Minnesota from my current contract in Spain as a classroom English Language Assistant in June and seeking meaningful work that allows me to pay my experiences back to the community. I strive to work toward a more socially equitable future, bringing a mindset of inclusion and intercultural awareness with me!
