In the role of Project Consultant I am working on several Supply Chain, Logistics, and IT projects within the Pon organization.

At Pon Logistics I am responsible for helping other Pon companies with their logistics challenges. Usually the projects are related to warehousing or transport management. So far I did a couple of warehouse moves within The Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. During these projects I determined stock volumes, storage solutions and planning of the actual move. Also I did the warehouse design. Besides that, as a project manager I was responsible for the onboarding of three different internal and external clients in our warehouses in Almere, Leusden and Veenendaal.In the field of transport management I advise on carrier selection and transport flows. Together with two of my colleagues I am the point of contact within Pon regarding transport related topics. This also applies to the carriers Pon works with. I do QBRs with account managers in order to manage transport quality and spend.

As Logistics Consultant I was part of the Logistics Solutions Center department. During this period I joined some logistics projects regarding the integration of two warehouses and process optimizations, in order to build up experience.After one year I decided to go back to university and enroll in a pre masters' programme Supply Chain Management.

My graduation research focused on the supply chain of Volkswagen Amarok spare parts for the armed forces of the Netherlands. Goal was to achieve a more efficient and transparant supply chain, while optimizing parts availability and inventory costs. I succesfully passed the research with a 8.1 graduation score. After graduating I got the offer to start working at Pon Logistics as a Logistics Consultant.

Besides my studies I worked at the automotive warehouse of Pon Logistics. Being part of the Assembly department, I was responsible for sorting spare parts per dealership.

During my internship at Philips Lighting I worked at the Distribution Engineering & Quality department. I focussed on order picking and my research topic was about batch picking and how it affects productivity. Besides that I set up a stock ordering system for packing materials based on Kanban.
