The Novo Nordisk Graduate Programme is a two-year curriculum designed in particular to includeexcelling graduates possessing a master’s degree. The programme consists of three rotations of eight months, each in different departments of Novo Nordisk. My rotations are: 1) In the Strategy, Sourcing & Negotiation Centre of Excellence in the Strategic Sourcing department. In this rotation my main responsibility has been within project management of strategically important outsourcing projects. My focus has been on optimizing our partnerships through diligent project oversight, ensuring that we consistently meet our ambitious timelines and quality benchmarks. Additionally, I have led a process development project aimed at standardizing the selection of Incoterms, which provided valuable learnings. Beyond project management, I've contributed to the vitality of our team by co-developing an internal branding strategy, supporting self-leadership through hosting workshops, and meticulously managing our internal project pipeline. 2) In NBS Procurement in Novo Nordisk Inc., Princeton, USA. During my rotation in the Enterprise Category Management team, I provide support across diverse business areas including supply chain, government pricing & rebate programs, market access & public affairs, and patient support programs. I am a part of the Business Support team in Corporate Procurement where I work mostly with compliance, both internally and externally. One way that I work with compliance is that I get to be an integral part of the Novo Nordisk Responsible Sourcing Programme which allows me to interact with global stakeholders on a daily basis. The most rewarding part of working with Responsible Sourcing is knowing that my daily tasks have a positive impact. Beyond this, I am fortunate enough to be allowed to drive internal projects where I feel very empowered when I get to drive and coordinate the process. I was fortunate enough to be part of a fast-paced team in a rapidly expanding company. Every day, I got to engage with people all around the globe in a variety of different projects. With customers on every continent, my tasks spanned far and wide, as I learnt more and more about what it means to work in the intersection between people and IT. In this role, I learned about, and acquired skills within, project management, IT infrastructure, stakeholder management, etc.
