Started studies unsure about the "what" but sure that the "how" is going to be mathematics. Because of that I enrolled in a mathematics course at the Charles University. Slowly migrated towards probability and statistics and my interest in the goings on in the wider world led to an interest in economics. My educational interests and a desire to study in the UK lead to a successful application to a course in econometrics at the LSE, where my interest has been piqued by macroeconomic models and forecasting, which is what is my current area of interest.On the background of my studies, I’ve devoted most of my free time towards volunteering in a youth organisation where I started as an assistant to a youth group leader. Through gaining experience and completing specialist seminars I’ve risen through the ranks to leading my own youth group and engaging with my organisation on a district and national level through co-organising national events and representing my chapter on executive gatherings. Now, I’m at the position of chapter vice president and I’m working towards better division of responsibilities among volunteers and clarifying our inner chapter purpose to better align our individual efforts.
