Lead engineer for engine-fit NVH components at Jaguar Land Rover UK.Responsible for design and release, component sign-off and validation of changes.Leading complex cross-department operations with the purpose of creating the optimal commodity for each engine type. Working closely with engine NVH and integration departments in order to devise possible improvements to the current and future components..Mentoring other members of the Alten team and aiding Team Leader with organisational tasks.As an initiative, I created a workload tracking submission system and reported the data to the Team Leader weekly in order to improve the internal communication and strengthen the partnership with JLR.

Mechanical design and development of the company's range of machinery.In particular:- R&D of Dawson Auger Cleaners (improving swing doors, bearing housing design and adding 3D printed gears to the automatic greasing system)- Design and delivery of testing rig for the automatic greasing system- Design and delivery of drop test rig

Leading KTP project established between Dawson Construction Plant ltd. and the University of SouthamptonDeveloping a new type of cushion blocks for hydraulic piling hammers. Designed a series of prototypes based on current state of knowledge (literature, journals, industry press, company's experience). Tested the prototypes, along with the classic designs for comparison. The five tests provided significant insight into the behaviour of cushion blocks during operation. As a result the design has been amended and was used in (initially) some of the company's pile drivers. It provides better driving performance, higher durability and reduces noise.Designing rebar cage vibrator, a machine capable of driving reinforcement cages into bored concrete piles.As an enhanced opportunity, alongside the core KTP, I worked with the DCP to create a new machine aimed at CFA piling market. Special hydraulic clamping system is used in conjunction with a typical vibratory gearbox to create an efficient solution. The patent is currently pending.

Overseeing operation of 37 CNC machines and ensuring timely deliveries to the customers.Responsibilities:- Writing g-code, using CAM package, based on customer's drawings- Drafting technical drawings based on physical components to code- Procuring necessary machining tools- Designing special tools if needed (i.e. for boring non-standard deep grooves)
