I am a UK-based interiors stylist with over eight years of experience in the styling industry. I have extensive experience in styling on sets, propping for editorials and styling for commercial spaces and commercial clients, both in stills photography, events and additional to the in computer generated Imagery. Styling was a natural career progression for me after having a career as a visual merchandiser for a number of year. I found it easy to apply the same disciples to my role. These involved keeping to date with up and coming future trends and applying them to the project. Understanding the harmonious relationship between texture, colour and visual placement as well as having a strong relationship with clients and understanding there needs and creating a vision to suit. In my current position I am Head of Creative with means I am much more involved in creating concepts and art direction. Responsible for developing and executing creative concepts for leading-edge marketing and web solutions. Regularly liaising with the client to ensure the best creative solutions are realised, implemented and delivered. I also take the lead in trend forecasting and mentor a team of stylists. This means sourcing the latest trends and translating the look for an interior market. I do this through attending conferences, exhibitions and expos – Analysing and always keeping a head of the game.
