Drilling Safety Adviser
CurrentGeneral Safety Responsibilities:Take all reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of themselves and persons likely to be affected by their acts or omissions.Ensure that HS & E Management Systems and processes are continually fit for purpose and are suitable and sufficient.Propose and implement practical safety, health and environmental improvement projects in liaison with Rig Superintendent / HS&E coordinators and line personnel.Main Responsibilities:Conducting accident and incident investigation.Conducting Platform Site Safety Induction & Safety related courses.Preparation and review the operation support: QHSE related procedures and guidelines.Conducting weekly conference calls with Onshore Management.Assuring HSE Arrangements as per client requirements.Implementing the safety amendments in work guidelines & procedures when required. Conducting Daily TRIC Cards review and monitoring process.Auditing WCC & ICC - Permit to Work System.Conducting Gas Test on site. Providing the daily & weekly HSEQ Onshore and Offshore audits.Conducting Risk Assessment review for all platform activities along with client reps.Controlling the BOSS & SOC Card observation system and reporting to the management regarding the statistic calculation and safety aspects which need to be improved.Sharing the safety Alerts between the work teams and reporting to the management.Monitoring KCAD contractors and subcontractors to insure the all KCAD Safety Procedures requirements are in place.Conducting daily meeting with clients and contractors to share the safety updates and discuss the plans for day.Conducting incident and accident investigation along with BP management.Implementing COSHH assessment for all hazardous materials involved with drilling and other.Rolling out Safety Issues during Pre-Shift Talks.
