Served as the initial North American Planning Manager, creating a Daily Production Schedule that was live and accessible to all supervisors and managers along with company-wide daily reviews that gave a voice across all departments. Prior to this implementation, all Maxim customers and categories were behind 3-4 weeks from promised shipping dates and within a month of implementation the Production goals were at 99.9% on-time shipping. Additionally, created and implemented a complete warehouse redesign that introduced the first true warehouse management system; this streamlined the ability to cycle count all materials monthly.

Served in multiple roles within Graphik Dimensions, Circle Graphics and Sensaria including Purchasing Manager (2007-2015), Contracting Consultant (2015-2019, 2023-2024), and Director of Purchasing and Inventory Control (2019-2023). Key Results: • Managed shutdown and liquidation of 2 Production Facilities in High Point, NC totaling over 130,000 sqft while working another full-time position at Maxim Label & Packaging. I managed the final liquidation, cleanup, employees, and worked with Commercial Realtors from October 2022 until the building lease completion in March of 2024.• In addition to all Purchasing and Inventory Control for the High Point locations, I filled the role of Commodity Buyer for all Moulding and Canvas in the Raleigh and Morrisville, NC locations beginning in Summer 2021 through March of 2023.• Negotiated cost savings of ~$427,000 for fiscal year 2021 across major categories, including Acrylic, Foamcore, and Ink.• During 2020, I was the sole Director on-site and was responsible for Purchasing, Inventory Control, Facilities, Maintenance, Warehouse, Receiving, and all Print Production Operations, which in 2020 included 993,000 sqft of art printing across 7 paper types, and 705,096 sqft of art printing across 7 canvas options. Framing Operations for 2020 included the procurement and production of 4.2MM linear feet of picture frame moulding across 978 unique mouldings. 2020 was a record year with total sales up 22.07% over the previous year's record sales. During COVID in 2020 (April-Dec) all sales were up 27.09% over the previous year, shattering all company records established during the previous 55 years.• Cycle Counting Department includes 2 full-time counters who perform daily counts across all materials within our average inventory values of $2.5MM. All high-volume items are counted monthly with all other items counted a minimum of 3 times annually.

I was part of the team that created, designed, and began production in a new 510,000 sqft facility in Whitsett, NC. I managed a team of 13, including a Buyer, Master Scheduler, Inventory Control Manager, 4 Inventory Analysts, Project Coordinator, 2 Logistics Coordinators, and 3 Cycle Counters. Our responsibilities were Account Management, including managing Customer Demand Forecasts; developing Materials Requirements for Custom and National Assembly Schedules for both blister and shrink assemblies of product and Point of Purchase displays; Inventory Management of a half-million square foot facility. In pursuit of those goals, my team also provided Inventory Management/Working Capital oversight to important business segments both current and in development. Additional duties included monitoring, maintenance, publishing, and disposition of aged and slow-moving inventories while working with Account Teams and Customer representatives. The Logistics Department also serves as the Scheduling, Material, and Fulfillment “Voice” on Customer Planning calls and worked to ensure Material readiness and to drive Standard Practices for Planning and Inventory Management where feasible. The Logistics Coordinators were responsible for scheduling all incoming and outgoing freight to support manufacturing, which annually exceeded $60 Million of sales performed through our 3 Weekday Shifts running 30 production lines and producing millions of displays and tens of millions of blister packed products each year. Inventory responsibilities included the monthly cycle counting of the entire inventory across 30,220 pallet locations.
