Developed and executed manual tests against new features and bug fixes. Delegated many of my previous responsibilities to other coworkers as we hired more personnel. Trained and mentored dozens of QA Analysts, Engineers, Developers, and others. Became a compendium of knowledge for KCF Technologies and was routinely brought into meetings and discussions concerning the development of new features. Identified inefficiencies in our automation flows and reconfigured them to reduce our "billable actions" from 4.5-7 million down to 2-4 thousand per week. Established best practices for both Quality Assurance and Software Development. Tested newly developed hardware devices and their interface with our SaaS application. Fixed (and inadvertently became the administrator of) the company website and generated new content as needed during a "Labs Week" project. Also became the primary administrator of all company social media accounts and content during this time period. Filled in (part-time) as customer technical support during the last couple hours of each workday (until that position was properly filled). Wrote the software user manual, release notes, and numerous other documentation still in use today (until a technical writer was hired). Generated most of the icons/menus found in our flagship SMARTdiagnostics software application. Resolved numerous front-end bugs (that I found) when software developers were preoccupied with implementing other features. Planned and coordinated monthly company "Happy Hour" events at various establishments around the State College (Pennsylvania) area. These recruiting events helped grow KCF Technologies from a small (~20 person) company into a medium-sized one (~300). Also organized the company bowling league team and was captain for several years.
