Focused and competitive individual entering his fourth season with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Currently serve as an area supervisor for the Ohio Valley region (OH, MI, KY, W PA), but have also worked in Player Development and most recently, as a member of the Baseball Operations department in our front office. As an area supervisor, serve as the overseer of information for the states listed above. Responsible for talent and personal evaluation for all HS and college players to provide recommendation to leadership for selection in the MLB Rule 4 Draft. Previous experiences include advanced knowledge of the MLB CBA, Rules, and Regulations for best implementation to Pittsburgh Pirates processes. Worked with our team in Pittsburgh to best identify and execute best strategies as it was related to various topics around the baseball calendar, including player acquisition, DFA/Waiver strategies, salary arbitration, and market analysis, amongst many other items. Player development experience lies in working around a team as an Operations Assistant, doing various activities including setting up technology for players and staff to use, video of games, and advanced scouting report prep for players and staff.Currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Grambling State University. Finished as the valedictorian of the May '19 class while serving as a member of the varsity baseball team.
