• Led North American Program Manager team providing customized development and training to top clients • Led global Project Manager team managing product development of hundreds of new and upgraded public / open enrollment courses each year• Managed outsourcing of legacy team and enablement for new overseas team o Performed a training gap analysis on new overseas team and provided them with appropriate Critical Thinking, Communications and PM training o Identified change management-related risks regarding operational processes and initiated actions to mitigate the risks • Managed and negotiated the Procurement Processes for dozens of vendor and contract resources used by the Program and Project Management Teams

Worked closely with department Directors, VPs and other members within the Project Teams to successfully implement North American Projects at Global Knowledge. Past projects managed include:• CTC Merger - Integrated TrainCanada (80 employees) and GK Canada together as one company. Successfully Project Managed throughout the Due Diligence process until full integration, working with cross functional teams from both companies including IT, Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales Support and Product Teams. Gathered relevant KPIs from all teams to track progress bi-weekly. Established clear communication plans with all cross-functional teams, both with the project stakeholder's team and the rest of the company. (Jan 2017-April 2018)• Corporate Social Responsibility Project – Created and provided a program for HTML 5 skills development for homeless and at-risk youth populations in Toronto in collaboration with Covenant House which led to receiving the International Microsoft YouthSpark Award and Canadian Impact Award for Digital Literacy in 2015 (2014-2017)• Classroom + Virtual Modality Rollout Project (C+V) – Project Managed the rollout of a North American Virtual Learning Modality which combines in-class and virtual modalities taught at the same time by one instructor to achieve the goal of a profitable client focused solution. (2012-2013)

• Managed a team of Program Managers within the Information Technology and Business Process Improvement lines of business and the roll-outs associated with new product lines and courses. • Rescued a high profile project that was in danger of failing due to resource constraints. Established a close relationship with the client, negotiated terms that were beneficial to both parties and led a team of instructors, coordinators and administration staff to see the project through resulting in a successful training rollout to over 1000 employees of a national company. • Revised and implemented virtual learning as a training modality. Created a consistent platform and set up the necessary technology and back end support.

• National Schedule – Organized and maintained the Canadian National Schedule for all Microsoft, Leadership and Business Skills, and Business Process Improvement public courses for 12 branches across Canada and for over 5500 classes yearly.• National Online Purchase Ordering System Project – Automated the manual PO process so that branches across the country could obtain Purchase Order numbers through a web based interface. Requirements included ease of use, maintenance of financial integrity, and accessibility by different departments. This system freed up the accounting department to focus on other demands and allowed for smooth and timely transactions with vendors and other stakeholders.• Client Services Decentralization Project – Reorganized a centralized department within the company to use a more regional model to combat client issues and inefficiencies within that department. The integration of the two models resulted in higher quality deliveries and greater customer satisfaction.• Microsoft Official Distance Learning Project – Collaborated with Microsoft in providing an official virtual curriculum where technical instructors helped to create a pilot program which was then rolled out to other official Microsoft Training Centres. This was one of the first instances of providing Virtual Training for clients so they could sit a course from a distance. • Sales Structure Reorganization Project – Restructured sales teams within the organization based on market segments to increase efficiencies and revenue. Deliverables included changes to commission plans, team strategies, the clean-up of clients in the registration system, redistribution of sales accounts, training, and integration between the registration system and sales system.

Managed and created internal processes on a company wide basis, including the National Schedule and vendor/partnership management,

Managed several branches within Nexient (formerly Polar Bear) including Halifax for 1 year, and acting manager for Vancouver, Calgary, and Winnipeg for several months at a time.

Taught application programs such as Microsoft Office, WordPerfect Suite, Lotus Suite, HTML, Adobe and Macromedia to corporate clients in Halifax (NS), Fredericton (NB), St. John’s, Happy Valley / Goose Bay (NFLD/Labrador), Fort McMurray (AB), and Curacao (Dutch Antilles).

Taught application courses to clients, setup and maintained 6 classrooms in the facility, and contracted to companies such as Agrium and Enerplus a Help Desk resource.

Taught Advanced Information Technology course at the University of Lethbridge's Satellite campus at SAIT (Calgary) for 5 hours every Saturday during the fall and spring semesters. Course topics included webpage development, desktop publishing, databases, and general IT topics.
