I have always believed that the role of the engineer is to improve quality of life. This perspective helps me understand the importance in every task I complete and push myself to produce the highest quality work products. I am always looking for ways to improve my work, my skillset, and, in turn, the world around me.As a certified Engineer-In-Training (EIT) with 2+ years’ combined experience as a design engineer and research intern, I have been able to use my love of technical challenges and commitment to quality to exceed expectations in each position I have held. One of the most important lessons I have learned in my career so far is that “under-qualified” does not mean “incapable”. I enjoy taking on new challenges, and I am a quick study. These traits have always led me to voluntarily and successfully assume responsibilities beyond those expected of my position. I would love an opportunity to do this once again in a setting where I can continue to sharpen my engineering knowledge and skills as I work towards obtaining my P.E. license.
