Manage support requests relating to one of Ventyx's Mining products. Responsible for liaising directly with customers and also the consulting and development staff to ensure support calls and requests are resolved in an efficient and effective manner.• Responsible for working as part of the IMS (Intelligent Mining Solution) team to provide technical and functional advice and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction• Handling customer support calls (via telephone, email or web)• Regular follow up and liaison with customers, Functional Consultants and Development regarding support issues.• Prioritization of customer requirements/issues.• Providing reports and updates to management regarding ticket volumes and Service Levels.• Participating in weekly work order review meetings and provide feedback to other departments on outstanding issues.• Liaising with consultants to facilitate knowledge captures and knowledge transfer (e.g. building up knowledge base).• Provide technical and functional advice to customers, and participating in technical and functional discussions with other Ventyx departments.• Software testing for quality assurance purposes• Troubleshooting, SQL, SQL server, Oracle and Network issues• Software license management• Installing, implementing and troubleshooting of license servers

• Provide IT support including desktop related technical assistance to users via telephone, web and emails.• Log all reported IT Incidents / Requests and perform troubleshooting, escalation or resolution as part of the Incident Management Process.• Perform user administration, remote technical trouble shooting, provide resolution and server administration where possible.• Responsible for hardware setup / purchasing, software installation / purchasing and IT training as User's Introduction to IT System.• Coordinate, escalate and work with various IT support teams, business partners, service managers• Managing user account permissions in Active Directory• Perform procurement process for required hardware and software• Asset management processes• Provide on-site support after major migration or hardware refresh
