Over the past eight years, I have honed the branding of this organization and, in collaboration with stakeholders, we have surpassed our marketing objectives. My role as Art Director primarily focuses on project management, while also providing support to two design coordinators. Together, we work on various projects such as designing brochures, web pages, ad banners, email headers, trade show signage, mobile app graphics, and more.

During my time in this role, my primary objective was to enhance our brand identity through creative design. I focused specifically on refining brochure layout, composition, and typography. My work involved developing innovative ideas for all of our branded materials. I also collaborated with internal stakeholders to identify effective marketing strategies to be implemented in both print and digital projects. Additionally, I was responsible for managing art and print production.

During my time as the Public Relations Coordinator at Hope Hospice, I had a diverse range of responsibilities. I played multiple roles such as being the PR representative, administrative personnel, meeting planner and creative director. One of my key achievements was organizing an annual gala to benefit the Hope Hospice Foundation, which required me to create a unique brand identity. I also successfully rebranded the Children's Grief Program and updated all printed materials for Hope Hospice, Hope Hospice Foundation and the Children's Grief Program. Additionally, I pitched for a Perinatal Program and organized a memorial golf tournament in honor of a former board member. As part of my PR role, I wrote press releases, grants, and ad copies for billboards, print ads, radio spots, and web. As an admin, I hosted community events, managed volunteer events, tracked hours, and coordinated both internal and external events.

During my time as Editor-in-Chief, I transformed our student-led publication from a newspaper to a magazine and social media format. I modernized the brand and collaborated with others to create a new process for delivering information to college leaders and students. I also mentored new journalists on best practices and oversaw the print and distribution aspects of the publication.

I successfully implemented a safety campaign called "When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors" across McKenna Children's Museum and New Braunfels ISD playgrounds. In addition, I wrote drafts for press releases and the internal employee newsletter, updated intranet communications, and coordinated employee events such as "Build Your Breakfast, Build Your Community" to increase our footprint in volunteer opportunities and hours served. Moreover, I led an engaging social media campaign for local conservation efforts and a xeriscaping contest.

Administered daily office needs, planned and coordinated monthly concerts on campus, and authored press releases and articles for The Torch, an alumni-focused magazine.
