With over 14 years of experience in the library and web development fields, I am a versatile and creative professional who enjoys solving problems, learning new skills, and collaborating with others. My mission is to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and accessible web solutions that meet the needs and expectations of my clients and end-users. I currently work as a web developer at Two Dogs Web Development, a small but growing company that specializes in WordPress and PHP development for small businesses and nonprofits. Some of the skills that I use and develop in this role include WordPress, JavaScript, React and NodeJS.In addition to my web development role, I also work as a periodicals and interlibrary loan technician at the King County Library System, one of the busiest and most innovative library systems in the country. In this role, I have revised the workflow that brought the ILL department national recognition for response time, maintained a database of tens of thousands of periodical subscriptions, and exported and analyzed data from OCLC. I have also designed and implemented automated scripts and systems that have significantly reduced ILL cataloging and processing time, generated invoices, and crafted the department's reference manual. I have also expanded my role beyond ILL and into periodicals, where I manage the SharePoint content. Some of the skills that I use and develop in this role include Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MacroExpress, and JavaScript.
