I am currently a graduating senior at the University of Massachusetts, Boston majoring in Environmental Science (B.S). Through my experiences, I have developed into a critical thinker motivated to work as hard as possible and understand the complexity of urban/coastal ecology and natural resource management. This passion keeps me moving forward, allows me to strive to learn new things, and motivates me to face challenges. Through my internship with the National Park Service in the summer of 2022, skills were developed in ecological research, coastal process, data collection/analysis, and wildlife management. My team and I collected data on biodiversity, substrates, and invasive species on many of the islands within Boston Harbor. This data was baseline monitoring of intertidal species and was collected to develop future climate policies. My experiences at my customer service jobs with The Kraft Group & Affiliates and Lowe's Companies, Inc. has allowed me to improve my communication, customer service, and leadership skills. Through the various positions I have gained a better understanding of people and how to effectively communicate with them to solve various issues. I am currently looking for a full-time position to use the skills and experiences stated above in some area of urban/coastal ecology or natural resource management.
