Growing up in an art studio with a father who was a pioneer in the Arab art world influenced Jamal's approach to art and life. He has always been drawn to sculpture, and has experimented with various materials such as metals, glass, bronze, clay, granite, and marble. His sculptures often reflect his thoughts and experiences with contemporary society and comment on the human condition. He believes it is important for people to engage with the world using their hands, hearts, and minds, as this connection to the tangible world and the things we create with our own hands enriches all aspects of life.As an artist, I have participated in a number of group and solo exhibitions, including "Art in the Pandemic" at the Southeast Museum in partnership with the Putnam Arts Council in New York (2021), The Great Lockdown Exhibition at the Bin Matar House in Bahrain (2020), The Bahrain International Airport Marble Sculpture Symposium in Bahrain (2020), Artdubai with Wadi Finan Gallery in Jordan (2020), The Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition in Bahrain (2019), and "Nostalgia" at Albareh Art Gallery in Bahrain (2019). I have also participated in group shows such as "Conversations with Self" at Albareh Art Gallery in Bahrain (2018) and "Lines" at AM Gallery in Kuwait (2016), and have exhibited my work at Arcapita Bank on the occasion of Bahrain National Day (2017). In addition, I have participated in international exhibitions such as the International Biennial Print Exhibit: 2016 ROC (2016), the Doha International Mini Art Exhibition 2 in Qatar (2015), and the Tokyo International Mini-Print Triennial in Japan (2015). I have also exhibited my work in many schools and college exhibitions.

As a design professional, I have led the successful implementation of Industry 4.0 parameters within my team, and have played a key role in the design, prototyping, and deployment of mobile data centres and workstations. I have created user-friendly interfaces and user experiences for these systems, including designing layouts and navigation, considering visual elements, and conducting user testing to gather feedback. I have also developed visual communications for various stakeholders, such as clients and internal teams, and have ensured that my designs meet the needs and goals of the organization through user testing and feedback gathering. In addition, I have stayed up-to-date on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning and research, and have collaborated with engineers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies and processes. I have conceptualized and prototyped a range of industrial design projects, including bus shelters, rail coach interiors, rail front ends, toilets, mobile toilets, and others, resulting in a higher rate of successful bids. I have also designed and prototyped building facades and urban furniture product lines, leading to increased sales, and have restructured and rebranded the organization's full corporate identity, including that of its subsidiaries. I have created and produced all marketing and communication literature and trade show exhibition stands, resulting in a unified brand voice.

My consulting work has involved collaborating with high-profile clients from various industries and leading projects for the design of museums, exhibitions, and visitor centers. I have developed and executed museums, exhibitions, and spaces including those for Sotheby's in Doha, Um Kalthoum-The Fourth Pyramid in Bahrain and Kuwait, The Olympics exhibition –The Olympics Past & Present in Doha, National Bank of Kuwait Corporate Museum in Kuwait, 100 Years History of Education in Kuwait, The Arab Games Exhibition in Doha, Horse Games, Horse Sports in Doha, and The Arab World Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.
