Stanford Healthcare Center, Emeryville CA (1 month): Field Engineer (FE), responsible for the quality control, production of levels 3 and 4 of the building. Supervised sub contractors performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fireproofing, welding, priority walls, drywall and other miscellaneous construction reqirements. Assisted in layout control for roof penetrations, demolition, and alignments for pads and walls. East County Hall of Justice, Dublin (4 months): Field Engineer (FE), responsible for County building concrete placement of two 23.5k sq-ft decks, layout and dimensional accuracy with zero percent and one percent losses. Placed control gridlines using a robotic station with maximum discrepancy of 1/8-inch in control lines for crafts and subcontractors to perform their tasks. Produced detailed lift drawings of slab, rough-in, walls for field use, tracking and reporting daily job production and maintained Quality Control of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work. Created an excellent working environment with craft and subcontractors by providing and receiving clear verbal and written communication. Reviewed architectural drawings, RFI’s, Specifications and contract documents, as well as assisted other staff with their duties.Stanford Healthcare Center, Emeryville CA ( 2months): Field Engineer, reviewed job startup needs for safety and office materials. Reviewed CAD drawings to understand and perform a quality control the control points using surveying robotic station. Researched and prepared Air Quality permits, certified waste diversion plan, construction safety signage, barricade and fencing plans, temporary office door orders, emergency contacts list, plans and presentation. Assisted in design and manufacturing of examination and surgery rooms made out of Coroplastic material.

November 2014 – August 2015, Construction Division, Project/Field Engineer for a $1-million Washwater Tank Rehabilitation. Coordinated with Contractor, Design, Treatment Plant Operations and other departments to schedule, inspect and implement construction of the tank’s rehabilitation. Coordinated progress meetings, schedule and project changes, RFI’s, Change Orders, Submittals, ordered materials and daily reports. Planned ahead to track cost and schedule and verified progress payments.March 2013 – November 2014, Facility Engineering Services DivisionPrepared Request For Quotations (RFQ) for projects that included the installation of a sub-drain system at reservoir parking lot to relieve upwelling water through the asphalt pavement and installation of an ADA compliant pedestrian path and tree removal; developed specifications, drawings, contracting and legal paperwork and managed the contractors. Coordinated with various departments for the installation of Computer Kiosks at different District facilities.July 2013 – March 2013, Water Distribution and Planning Completed $3.4 million recommendation for the replacement of a 1.2 MG reservoir with a dual tank option to improve water quality; analyzed the pressure zone needs, outage plan, site layout, material and earth work cost in a 75 year life cycle assessment; used InfoWater to model pipeline infrastructure to recommended pipeline replacements, abandonments and relocations; completed Fire Service Request, Water Supply Assessments, Water Service Estimates Hydrant Flow Tests and reviewed Environmental documents; prepared data for Rate Control Station rehabilitation study.
