Jamal Bennah currently a contractor for Pike Engineering, working as a Distribution Engineering Technologist to evaluate, design, and enter work orders for various electrical distribution facilities (joint use, roadway, highway, and large-scale lighting). Jamal is a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he made the Dean's List four times and maintained a 3.33 GPA. He is skilled in programs like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EES, and Microsoft applications. His past work experience includes an internship at AECOM, where he documented utility infrastructure and helped pioneer a new cable routing layout using AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software. He has also worked on various design projects throughout his academic curriculum, enforcing essential engineering practices such as material manufacturing, FEA & stress analysis, dynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. This includes a senior design project with Siemens Energy, where he helped develop a new copper wedge fixture. Jamal has strong technical, organizational, and teamwork skills, demonstrated through his work on complex engineering projects and community service initiatives.
