As the Executive Officer at Office of the Arkansas Drug Director, I oversee the implementation and coordination of the state's drug policy and strategy, working with various stakeholders and partners to reduce the impact of substance abuse and addiction on the health and safety of Arkansans. I have more than three years of experience in managing prevention and education initiatives that target prescription drug/opioid overdose-related deaths and other problems associated with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) statewide.Before joining the Office of the Arkansas Drug Director, I was the Communications and Outreach Officer at Engage Arkansas, where I developed and executed effective communication and outreach strategies for the organization and its AmeriCorps Arkansas programs, enhancing their external communications, digital media presence, and branding. I hold a BA in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media from the University of Dubuque, and I leverage my skills and creativity to transform ideas into visual statements that reinforce engagement and capture new audiences. My mission is to use my management and communication competencies to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and communities affected by substance abuse and addiction.
